کبیر دادا نے ہاتھ کے اشارے سے انھیں دفع ہونے کاکہا اور تناوش کی طرف متوجہ ہوا ۔
”میرا خیال ہے میرا کام ختم ہوگیا ۔“
”جی ہاں ….بس ایک چھوٹی سی رسم باقی ہے ۔“اطمینان بھرے لہجے میں کہتی ہوئی اس نے سر پر دوپٹا درست کیا اور مولوی محبو ب الٰہی کی طرف متوجہ ہوئی ۔”چچا جان !…. ہمارا نکاح پڑھا دیں ۔“

”حق مہر ….؟“اس مرتبہ وہ بشریٰ خاتون سے مستفسر ہوا تھا ۔

اور مولوی محبوب الٰہی تکرار کیے بغیر ایجاب و قبول کرانے لگا ۔کبیردادا نے اس ضمن میں زبان نہیں کھولی تھی ۔وہ بس دلچسپی سے تناوش کی باتیں سنتا رہا ۔اس چھوٹی سی لڑکی میں خوب صورتی کے علاوہ بھی کوئی تو خاص بات تھی جو وہ اس کی باتوں پر یوں محظوظ ہو رہا تھا ۔
نکاح کی رسم پوری ہوتے ہی وہ کھڑا ہو کر تناوش سے پوچھنے لگا ۔
”تمھیں لینے کے لیے کس وقت گاڑی بھیجوں ؟“
”میں آپ کے ساتھ ہی چل رہی ہوں ۔“وہ پختہ لہجے میں بولی ۔
”نہیں ۔“کبیردادا نے نفی میں سرہلایا۔”رات کے دس بجے تمھیں لینے کے لیے کار پہنچ جائے گی ۔اپنے گھر والوں کے ساتھ چند گھنٹے مزید بھی گزار لو ۔اور کوئی رسم وغیرہ رہتی ہو تو وہ بھی پوری کر لو ۔“آخری فقرہ اس نے متبسم ہو کرکہا تھا ۔تناوش کو محسوس ہوا کہ وہ مسکراتے ہوئے مزید اچھا لگنے لگتا ہے۔مگر اس کے ساتھ یہ بھی حقیقت تھی کہ تبسم اس کے چہرے پر خال خال ہی نمودار ہوتا تھا ۔
